What does this app do?
The Galileo Green Lane app monitors the traffic situation at TEN-T border crossings. It provides an overall picture of the congestion on EU internal borders. The Galileo Green Lane app provides compliance with the European Commission Communication C(2020) 1897 final, on the implementation of the Green Lanes.
What is a TEN-T crossing?
The Trans-European transport NeTwork (TEN-T) is a network of roads, railways, airports and water infrastructure in the European Union. There are 180 border crossing points in the network
What is a Green Lane?
A Green Lane is a TEN-T border crossing where the time taken to cross the border is less than 15 minutes.
What about my privacy?
The Galileo Green Lane app collects location data to update the overall traffic status at TEN-T border crossings. Your location is transmitted securely and anonymously to our servers only once you enter a TEN-T border crossing zone to provide statistical traffic data. All data handling is done in compliance with EU regulation on data privacy, specifically with regards to the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.
What Android requirements do I need in order to run the app?
At this time, the application requires Android 7 and up or iOS 10 or greater to run.
Does this work on iOS?
Galileo Green lane now supports both iOS and Android OSs.
What do I do when an app freezes during download?
If a download was interrupted or failed, please check your network or internet connection and try it again.
I am unable to download apps.
Please check the network connection status and try again. When using a mobile network, a maximum download speed may apply if the connection is poor. In that case, try downloading the app using Wi-Fi.
